After you read the contents, you will understand the need for
our association to unite and build our membership as quickly
as possible. As the letter states, we have been misinformed
by MBE/UPS. The information that we as investors/franchisees
needed to make an informed decision was not made available to
us. FAC, elected to represent the interests of franchisees,
is an advisory committee to MBE/UPS, and presented their findings
to our corporate leadership. Our corporate leadership chose
to ignore these findings, and move forward with a model that
"will not succeed".
This 12 page document, dated November 27, 2002, (4 months before
the inception of Gold Shield), along with others were discussed
by the participants in Las Vegas. The document is the recommendation
and observations presented by the Franchisee Advisory Council,
and is presented here just as we received it.
Our data is building, and our focus is becoming very clear,
but for us to succeed in this cause we need you and your fellow
store owners to unite with us in this association.
